  Dean's is the BEST!! I love this place! It's inside an old converted house off highway 212. There's a fireplace they light on cold mornings which is nice. The decor is nothing fancy, real simple but who cares. They put their time and energy into what's important... their food!!! I usually get the same thing every time: their ham and cheese omelette. Which is HUGE!! I can never finish, always take at least half home, it's like two meals in one. (And great prices.) But what I love the most is their hash browns, the best ever!! Freshly shredded potatoes, deliciously golden brown and crispy and not oily. The staff is so wonderful, very friendly and nice. Quick service too. Your coffee cup is never empty. Dean is probably my favorite staff person, he's awesome and so funny. His Grandma is the gem, such a sweet lady. This is my go to breakfast spot.

  Great place for breakfast if you want the kind of breakfast that will keep you going all day long. Fantastic omelettes, perfectly done hash browns. The lunch options don't shine as brightly as breakfast, but they're still pretty great.
  
  The staff is funny and friendly, and the place always seems to be full of regulars. Fair warning, they'll happily sass you if they think you need to be brought down a peg or two. If you're the stuck-up type, try the Elmer's down the street. Otherwise, bring an appetite and cash. They don't take credit/debit cards.

  I travel 48 weeks a year, so I eat out a lot. Dean's is a small homey feel diner with friendly staff and amazing food. I had the pork chops and eggs for breakfast with a side of bacon, white toast, orange juice and a coffee for $16.25. Great atmosphere, friendly staff excellent food! Every time I come to the clackamas area I will be back!
  The place has only about 12 tables and a breakfast bar so you may have to wait a few minutes to be seated. As well they only take cash, but do not let that be why you do not try Dean's, well worth the short wait to be seated!
